This role ensures maintenance work is accurately entered, prioritized, and planned within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The Maintenance Planner works closely with maintenance technicians, operations, engineering, and vendors to ensure equipment reliability, effective resource allocation, and minimal downtime.\n\nThis is considered an essential on-site role, which requires regular on-site attendance.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintenance planning and scheduling\nDevelop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work orders using the CMMS.\nEstimate hours, assign, and ensure qualifications for each task.\nEnsure parts availability by coordinating with the spare parts administrator.\nMaintain an organized backlog of tasks and ensure all are planned and ready for scheduling.\nPreventive Maintenance (PM) & Reliability Optimization\nReview and optimize PM tasks to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.\nWork with reliability engineer to utilize equipment history, failure data, and technician feedback to improve maintenance routines.\nAssist in implementing reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCMMS Data Management\nMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date asset data, PM schedules, job plans, and work order status within the CMMS.\nGenerate and analyze CMMS reports to support planning, reliability improvement, and KPI tracking.\nEnsure standard maintenance procedures, risk assessments, and manuals are accessible and linked to maintenance tasks.\nCollaboration & Communication\nWork closely with maintenance supervisors and operations to coordinate weekly accessibility of equipment.\nCommunicate job plans clearly to technicians and provide necessary documentation.\nPartner with engineering teams on system upgrades, equipment changes, and improvement projects.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nAssociate degree (2‑year degree) in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or related field.\nPreferred: 4-year degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or related field.\n2 years work experience using a CMMS for work order entry, planning, and reporting.\nUnderstanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems common in conveyor and material‑handling equipment.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.\nPreferred: Experience with Preventive Maintenance Optimization, reliability engineering concepts, or RCM\nPreferred: Supervisor Experience\nPhysical Requirements:\nGenerally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen.\nGenerally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body.\nCompensation:\nThe starting base pay rate for this position is:\n$25.25\n______________________________________________________________________\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.
