They will manage and control the enquiry to supply process to match customer requirements.\nKey tasks for this varied role include assessing, confirming, and costing customer enquiries ensuring effective flow of information across the supply chain. Customer experience and communication are key to success in this role as individuals will be regularly speaking to and negotiating with a range of external individuals.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nWork closely with sales colleagues to ensure customer requirements are understood and actioned in agreed time frames.\nEnsure customer enquiries are actioned in a timely manner. Liaise directly with customers to fully understand requirements, as needed, in order to develop effective supply solution.\nMaximize the conversion rate from enquiry, to quote, to order.\nDevelop supply chain to allow for the quickest solution allowing for cost and quality.\nUnderstand the capability of our suppliers; build and maintain good relationships, driving improvements in time to quote.\nCollaborate closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain to validate assumptions and ensure pricing accuracy.\nDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve pricing and estimating catalogue, including standard materials, processes, and historical pricing data.\nAnalyze historical quotes and job performance to refine pricing models and improve margin consistency.\nDevelop and communicate price working directly with the customer or in conjunction with account management.\nExpedite RFQ's to ensure that customer expectations are met.\nKeep abreast of market trends for materials.
