On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.Pay, Benefits, And More: We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability, and more.What You'll Do On a Typical Day:Develop and conduct training for drivers and non-driving staff on necessary aspects of: Federal and state transportation regulations.Buchanan safety policies/practices.Specifically, during Orientation for Road Testing, Pre and Post Equipment InspectionsProper load securement including understanding of BHRI policies and procedures.Documentation and route preparation/review (permits, measurements, etc.).Smith System Defensive Driving trainingAssist drivers with inspection of newly issued equipment (tarps, chains, etc.)Develop and conduct training for drivers and non-driving staff on post-accident training.Conduct documentation and training audits.Ensure corrective action is taken to remedy deficiencies/findings.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' experience with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)Knowledge of federal and state Department of Transportation (DOT) Motor Carrier regulations.Experience developing / conducting training programs.Current Homeland Security TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials), preferredFMCSA Reasonable Suspicion training/certificate, preferred.Experience with Loading/Unloading/Securement of Heavy Equipment
