This position must also provide a high level of professionalism and must possess excellent soft skills in addition to technical skills.\r\nAbout the Role\r\nIP Pathways is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to join our Managed Services – Operations Team.\r\nThis team is responsible for implementing, onboarding, and migrating clients into IP Pathways' managed and cloud service platforms — including cloud, disaster recovery, backup, and managed infrastructure offerings. Beyond initial deployment, the team provides the ongoing operational care and administration of these environments, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, and high-performing through continuous monitoring, management, and maintenance.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nLeading implementation, onboarding, and migration projects across hybrid and cloud environments.\r\nTaking ownership of the ongoing monitoring, management, and administration of client systems and services.\r\nIdentifying opportunities to automate, orchestrate, and optimize operational processes for greater efficiency and reliability.\r\nIf you enjoy solving tough problems, streamlining technical processes, and building resilient networks that support clients' long-term success, this is the perfect opportunity for you.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nParticipate as a network engineering resource as part of a project team, implementing solutions according to defined project timelines.\r\nConfigure, implement, and manage network infrastructure devices and related applications within client on-premise and cloud environments.\r\nProvide written updates and summaries of project tasks completed, issues that arise, and progress of ongoing tasks.\r\nAssist in the implementation of system-related solutions by providing connectivity of systems through networking solutions and configurations.\r\nPerform site surveys to assess and validate client environments and/or effectiveness of implemented solutions.\r\nSupport the onboarding and management of client infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments.\r\nAssist in the onboarding and migration of clients into IP Pathways' AdaptiveCloud Cloud Infrastructure platform.\r\nDevelop and improve automation, orchestration, and monitoring processes to increase operational efficiency.\r\nDocument processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality service delivery.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation projects.\r\nAssist in the troubleshooting and resolution of network issues for customer environments.\r\nMentor and provide technical guidance to fellow engineers.\r\nRequired Skills & Experience\r\nAssociate's degree or relevant certifications (such as CCNA) preferred, or equivalent work experience.\r\nMinimum 3+ years of experience in network administration and engineering.\r\nExperience with the following technologies is favored\r\nWireless Technologies: Aruba, Meraki, Mikrotik\r\nRouting/Switching: Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Meraki, Mikrotik\r\nFirewalls: Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, FortiGate\r\nFamiliarity with the following technologies is a plus\r\nProtocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Fibre Channel Zoning\r\nLoad Balancers: Kemp, F5, Peplink\r\nOther Technologies: Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Cisco phone (CUCM)\r\nExcellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.\r\nExceptional multitasking prowess maintaining quality.\r\nA proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.\r\nTeam-oriented disposition.\r\nFamiliarity with ticketing systems, remote monitoring tools, and managed-service delivery environments.\r\nProficiency in 1–2 scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, is a huge plus.\r\nPhysical Abilities Required\r\nAbility to rack network infrastructure equipment and other datacenter equipment, as needed.\r\nAbility to work on your feet or at a desk for extended periods of time, as needed.\r\nWhy IP Pathways?\r\nIP Pathways is an expert provider of hybrid IT solutions for small, medium and enterprise companies by delivering world-class engineering services supported by high-touch customer service.
