Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.\n\nWhat You Will Experience In This Position\n\nLead and advance EHS strategy by providing clear, consistent direction that supports both people and business outcomes.\n\nBe a visible safety leader with a strong shop floor presence—recognized as the go to expert for safety, health, and environmental mentorship.\n\nCollaborate closely with the Plant Manager and leadership team to align EHS initiatives with site priorities and long term objectives.\n\nProactively identify workplace hazards and collaborate with plant teams to eliminate or mitigate risk.\n\nChampion a ZERO HARM culture, driving safe behaviors and practices across all levels of the organization.\n\nMonitor and interpret EHS regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA), assess potential impacts, and translate requirements into practical, effective solutions.\n\nOwn environmental programs related to waste, water, and energy, supporting both regulatory compliance and sustainability initiatives.\n\nEngage employees at all levels to identify, develop, and implement continuous EHS improvements.\n\nManage EHS documentation, permits, and vendor relationships, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\n\nCoordinate workers’ compensation cases, partnering with HR and Legal to drive appropriate outcomes.\n\nLead incident reporting and investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow up.\n\nFacilitate EHS training programs, ensuring all regulatory and company requirements are met and well understood.\n\nYou Have\n\nBackground in Engineering, Science, Safety, or Environmental disciplines preferred\n\nBachelor's degree in safety, environmental, engineering, construction management or related preferred\n\nAssociate Safety Professional (ASP) certification or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred\n\n7+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems\n\nExperience working in a manufacturing or construction environment\n\nStrong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a plant setting\n\nWe Have\n\nA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day\n\nnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
