{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"84f77a1b2f30e063d9914ddf","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/84f77a1b2f30e063d9914ddf","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/84f77a1b2f30e063d9914ddf","title":"Quality Engineer","description":"Job SummaryEnsure that Nefab products meet customer requirements established in the drawings and acceptance and rejection criteria, in the different buildings within the Division.Salary range $70,000 -$80,000 annual dependent upon experienceMain ResponsibilitiesProvide training about: introduction to Q&EMS, SFI, NICS, DOT.Solve customer complaints on time, coordinating containment actions (quality alert, sorting material, RMA) and the root cause and corrective/preventive actions.Make follow up to 8DNCRs, 8DComplaints, 8DSCARs, Product Discrepancies in NICS and compile evidences for Corrective / Preventive actions.Perform FMEA and Control Plan for the operational processes.Consolidate the results of quality and environmental KPIs.Perform customized FAIs or PPAPs.Securing product quality in new products by proposing measures to control or improve the final products to meet established quality standards.Control of measuring devices (calibrations / verifications), including annual verification of measuring tapes.Document tests for RISE packaging in NICS.Analyze weekly the Product Discrepancies report (scrap, reworks, etc.) and present results to the operations team to improve the performance.Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Policies and Procedures.Other duties as needed.Minimum Experience And Education RequirementsEDUCATIONUniversity Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent to experience).Experience2 years in quality assurance.LANGUAGESFluent in English, both written and verbalBilingual in Spanish a plusSkills And CompetencesDecision makingAnalysis and judgmentInitiative and responsibilityInterpretation of drawingsMeasuring devicesKnowledge of product and packaging materialsForklift handlingHEALTH AND SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL OBLIGATIONSHEALTH AND SAFETY Abide by Company’s Health & Safety regulations.ENVIRONMENT Abide by Company’s Environmental regulations.Americans with Disability SpecificationsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
