Job DescriptionSUMMARY:This individual will work in our packaging department and will be responsible for labeling and packaging inventory, based on need, to keep our shelves stocked and orders fulfilled. This individual should accept and support the mission, values and goals of Gamblin Artists Colors and work to all company standards for safety, quality and professionalism. They must understand that the Gamblin brand is everything. They will support Manufacturing by performing the following duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (25-30 hours a week): Tubes of paint: Clean, label and package paint, rotate stock and place in to finish goodsCans of paint: Clean and label cans of paint, rotate stock and place in to finish goodsGift Sets: Assemble, box and fill components for Artist Grade, FastMatte, 1980 and Medium Sets. Shrink wrap and label sets as needed, rotate stock and place in to finish goods. Dry Pigments: Clean and label jars, rotate stock and place in to finished goodsInk Cans: Clean, label and seal cans, rotate stock and place in to finished goodsOTHER DUTIES (No more than 20% of weekly duties):Facilities: Maintain the Packaging and Finished Goods areas in both appearance and functionality. Ensure a safe and clean work environment, i.e., spills and trash are cleaned up and dealt with promptly and properly. Packaging area is swept weekly and recycling and trash are emptied as needed. Additional duties may be assigned by department manager at any time. Hours: Must work designated hours unless other arrangements have been made. Overtime, including weekends, may be required.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a satisfactory level. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly with packaging, preferred.Language SkillsMust have the ability to understand and communicate verbally, and in writing, in American English.Mathematical SkillsEmployee must have acceptable basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.WORK ENVIORNMENT: Gamblin Artist Colors is a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
