US Citizenship Required.\n\nThe Company has an exciting opportunity for Senior Structural Analysis Engineers for current and emerging programs across the St. Louis region, including Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO, and Mascoutah, IL.\n\nAt Company, Structural Analysis Engineers develop and document structural requirements to guide system design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and simulations. They create test plans, support test execution, and analyze results to ensure systems meet specifications and certification standards. Additionally, they investigate in-service product issues and recommend improvements for various Company aircraft, unmanned vehicles and more.\n\nPrograms\n\nF-47 – the next generation fighter for the Air Force\n\nT-7A – the next generation trainer for the Air Force\n\nF-15, F/A-18, EA-18G, F-22 – production tactical fighter aircraft ongoing major upgrades\n\nSeveral programs within the Phantom Works organization\n\nMQ-25 – Autonomous Carrier Landing Vehicle for the Navy\n\nPrecision Engagement Systems (PES) including Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) and Cruise Missiles (SLAM ER, Harpoon and development weapons)\n\nCompany Global Services including Support Equipment, Government Training Engineering, and U.S. Air Force Programs Modification, Sustainment, and Product Support\n\n777X commodity design, fabrication and manufacture\n\nCompany Test and Evaluation\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nLeads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.\n\nCoordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment.\n\nGuides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.\n\nLeads development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.\n\nDefines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.\n\nSupports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.\n\nDevelops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.\n\nWorks under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.\n\nThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.\n\nRequirements\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):\n\nBachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.\n\n10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience\n\n8+ years experience analyzing primary structure, subsystems, or weapons in the Aerospace Industry\n\nExperience performing hand calculations, using industry CAD system (e.g. PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA), FEM software (PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, Abaqus), and MS Office\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\n\nExperience with Company Analysis Tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation).\n\nCTS Pays For Referrals!
