You'll work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the high standards Maxwell is known for.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project partners.\nLead projects from conceptual planning through final closeout.\nCollaborate with design teams to develop and manage project schedules.\nDevelop project budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.\nMonitor project financial performance and proactively identify opportunities and risks.\nCoordinate subcontractors and trade partners to keep projects moving efficiently.\nFacilitate preconstruction meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and project review sessions.\nReview drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure alignment with project goals and budgets.\nManage change orders, claims, invoices, and project reporting.\nPartner with field leadership to support successful project execution.\nMentor Assistant Project Managers and Co-op students.\nPromote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nTake ownership of project success and help uphold Maxwell's reputation for quality and integrity.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.\nWhether you're an emerging construction professional ready to take the next step or a seasoned Project Manager with years of experience, we're looking for people who are eager to learn, lead, and make an impact.\nExperience managing commercial construction projects.\nStrong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, and industry best practices.\nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships.\nAbility to review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nExperience leading project teams and developing others.\nProcore experience is preferred.\nAbility to visit active construction sites, navigate uneven terrain, climb ladders, and access multi-story structures.\nA positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever needed to help the team succeed.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n\nClients trust you and enjoy working with you.\nProjects stay organized, on track, and financially healthy.\nTeam members know they can count on your leadership and support.\nField and office teams work together effectively.\nProblems are solved proactively, not reactively.\nEvery project reflects Maxwell's commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.\n\nWhy Maxwell?\n\nAt Maxwell Construction, we're large enough to tackle complex projects across Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, but small enough that people know your name.
