Community Coordinator
Overview
The School Community Coordinator will be responsible for establishing and strengthening the relationship between the school, families, and the external community. This key position promotes active parent engagement, collaborates with local organizations, and supports initiatives that enhance school culture and community involvement, in alignment with the mission of LEAP Social Enterprise.
Responsibilities
Recruit and onboard volunteers to support community initiatives
Manage and coordinate community events and programs
Educate community members on available resources and services
Collaborate with stakeholders to address community needs and concerns
Develop and implement strategies to enhance community involvement
Support and guide students in community engagement activities
Qualifications
Proven experience in recruiting and volunteer management
Background in social work or related field is preferred
Ability to educate and engage diverse community members
Experience working with students is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
