Social Media Community Engagement Intern
Childhood Cancer Society | Remote (U.S.) Childhood Cancer Society (CCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting families battling pediatric cancer financially and emotionally. We're seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Social Media Community Engagement Intern to help us build meaningful connections across our social platforms.This role is perfect for someone who loves social media, enjoys interacting with others online, and understands how thoughtful engagement can grow a mission. Responsibilities include the following:Monitor and engage with comments across CCS and Adventure Ted social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)Respond to comments in CCS's brand voice with warmth, empathy, and positivityLike, reply to, and engage with relevant posts from partners, influencers, and supportersHelp foster a supportive and welcoming online communityFlag important messages, DMs, or comments for the Communications TeamSupport engagement during campaigns, events, and wish grant momentsCurrent student or recent graduate (communications, marketing, or related field preferred)Strong written communication skillsFamiliarity with Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedInReliable, organized, and comfortable working independentlyAble to follow brand guidelines and tone direction
