looking for Senior Design Engineer- Fuel systems to join their team in Everett, WA location.\nA successful candidate will work collaboratively with team and shall work with the Engineering Manager, execute fuel systems design engineering work statements to develop or optimize the designs, engineering process, analyze the supplier quality issues, support innovative technologies and digital initiatives.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nYou will execute the technical projects with the supervision of technical lead engineer or technical experts, reporting to Engineering Manager.\nYou will assist mechanical design of a fuel systems and other aircraft /Aerospace components.\nYou will take technical guidance and mentorship during project execution\nYou will collaborate with team members in customer organizations and shall provide a periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents.\nYou will provide assistance in converting the customer requirements to project deliverables and define suitable processes to achieve the desired results/outcome.\nYou will assist in creating statements of work, estimates, resource plans, and schedules\nYou will assist management on resource requirements\nYou will pro-actively seek information and assist to complete the work statements\nYou will assist the experts in applying use of design automation wherever possible\nYou will assist in building technical performance metrics to measure project progress and ensure compliance with requirements\nYou shall assist teams in out of the box and apply problem-solving skills to find solutions appropriately.\nYou will assist in gathering relevant data for root cause analysis and produce changes to resolve the discrepancies in design packages.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nBachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical or equivalent disciplines)\nan Engineering degree and 8+ years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree and 4+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nYou shall have good knowledge in design of fuel system components like valves, pumps, sensors, piping and tubings.\nYou shall have good understanding on industry standards, aircraft requirements, design and certification.\nYou shall have knowledge in aerospace material selection, drawing (Drawing based or MBD creation), processes (finishing and heat treatment) specifications, perform analyses like tolerance stack up, engineering or product quality investigation analyses.\nYou shall have basic experience in developing designs using CAD Tools (CATIA V5) for Modeling, Drafting & Model Based Definition is an added advantage.\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nYou shall have knowledge on design and development as part of New Product development.\nYou shall have Good knowledge / experience in assigning GD&T\nYou shall have experience in Model Based Engineering using any of the CAD tools\nYou shall have experience in use of PDM/PLM tools such as ENOVIA or Team Center or PDM.\nYou shall have knowledge in using MS Excel (preferred), MS Power BI (advantage)\nYou shall be able to work with cross-functional team and work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to meet the business needs.\nTypical Education & Experience:\nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 7+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
