This role will partner directly with the Controller to strengthen our GAAP reporting framework, automate revenue processes under ASC 606, and build scalable systems and reporting infrastructure inside NetSuite.\n\nThis is a systems-forward accounting role focused on revenue recognition automation, monthly GAAP conversion and reporting rigor, financial systems cleanup and integration, and building executive-ready reporting processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with systems fluency and process design thinking. This role is ideally based in our Lehi, UT office. Denver, CO candidates will also be considered.\nPrimary Job Responsibilities:\nEnhance and automate ASC 606 revenue recognition processes and monthly GAAP conversion workflows\nBuild and refine recurring revenue, ASC 606, and executive reporting outputs within NetSuite\nLead structural cleanup and reporting improvements within NetSuite, including department and business unit hierarchies\nPartner on HubSpot–NetSuite integration enhancements related to ARR and billing\nOwn monthly budget vs. actual reporting and variance analysis\nImprove AR reporting, aging visibility, and manage collections and overdue invoice follow-up processes\nSupport balance sheet integrity and strengthen close documentation and internal controls\nLead preparation for the annual financial statement audit, including audit schedules and responses to auditor requests\nIdentify and implement automation opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes\nSupport and help lead the monthly accounting close process, including journal entry preparation and review, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of financial reporting packages\nEnsure timely and accurate month-end reporting, including recurring revenue reconciliations, ARR reporting, and alignment of operational data to GAAP financial results\nAbout Netgain:\nNetgain is a US based, high-growth company of CPAs who have lived and breathed finance & accounting processes throughout our careers.
