The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers using our power and charger products, troubleshooting issues, assisting in the design and integration of our products into our customers’ systems, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.\n\nIn this role, you will work closely with customers, Business Development, Sales, R&D, and Quality teams to drive product improvements, develop training materials, and help shape the next generation of Acbel’s power electronics solutions.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* *Customer Technical Support*: Provide expert technical support to customers for power and charger products, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.\n* *Troubleshooting*: Serve as the first line of technical support for customer issues, performing initial diagnosis, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting while coordinating with R&D and Quality teams as needed.\n* *Design Assistance*: Collaborate with customers in designing and developing power management and charging solutions. Offer guidance on integrating our power electronics products into their systems and support device recommendations, schematic reviews, and circuit debugging.\n* *Testing and Validation*: Conduct comprehensive testing of AC/DC, DC/DC, high-power, low-power, high-voltage, and low-voltage switch-mode power supplies and other related systems, ensuring accurate performance validation.\n* *Quality Collaboration*: Work closely with the Quality team to generate acceptable reports (e.g., 8D reports) and assist in identifying and resolving product-related issues.\n* *Training and Documentation*: Lead training sessions for customers and internal sales teams, develop application notes, and create comprehensive documentation to assist customers in using our products effectively.\n* *Customer Feedback and Product Improvement*: Collect and analyze customer feedback on product performance and collaborate with Business Development and R&D to drive continuous product enhancements and the development of new features.\n* *Collaboration Across Teams*: Work with R&D and software teams across different global regions to debug issues and improve product design.\n\n*Skills*\n\n* Extensive knowledge of power architecture, specifically in server, storage, networking, and desktop power systems.\n* Proficient with power measurement tools and experienced in conducting bench tests on customer PCBs/modules.\n* Hands-on experience with setting up tests, understanding interfaces with various equipment (including devices under test, DUTs), and using instruments such as thermocouples, sensors, and electronic loads.\n* Strong experience in designing and building electronic test fixtures and equipment.\n* Software Skills: Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze problems and deliver practical solutions in a timely manner.\n* Presentation Skills: Solid presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n* Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required for effective communication with global teams and customers.\n* Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
