Suggest improvements and recommend solutions to problems\n\nAssist other retail associates with difficult and complex areas of customer product needs and prescriptions\n\nHandle tasks such as taking and recording measurements, adjusting, or fitting eyewear carefully and correctly, ensuring details are thorough and exact\n\nInform Office Manager of any office problems noted by staff, doctors, or patients\n\nPerform all tasks assigned by Office Manager\n\nRequirements:\n\nJob Specifications\n\nTypically has the following skills or abilities:\n\nOne to two years of experience in related field\n\nWorking knowledge of MS Office package\n\nDemonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment\n\nEffective verbal communication skills to prioritize multiple tasks and to be available for incoming calls and inquiries\n\nEffective written communication skills to clearly document customer situations, as well as prepare letters to confirm agreements made\n\nExcellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills\n\nAbility to ask appropriate and relevant questions to identify customer needs\n\nProven problem-solving, negotiations, and decision-making skills\n\nAbility to use appropriate discretion and judgment in applying customer/call handling guidelines\n\nAbility to listen, process transactions and interact with customers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment\n\nFor roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFM)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFM), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience as an Optician with an active Florida License\n\nBilingual English and Spanish\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nThe working environment is generally favorable.
