Hotel CookWe are looking for a professional cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and brand standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.Specific Responsibilities:Provide guests with highest possible experience of food quality and presentationAble to cook multiple tickets at once to ensure the timeliness of service for the guestsKeep open communication between management and employeesEnsure food quality standards are followed by all; appearance, taste, garnishment of plate and rotation of productsEnsure that the opening and closing procedures are completedEnsure proper health code standards and followedEfficiently expedite food from front line during busy meal periodsResponsible for adhering to company use records, recipes, applicable Franchise and management company's Standard Operating Procedures, meat charts, etc.Take immediate action on problems that are encountered in the kitchenFollow brand procedures on portion controlMaintain a clean, organized kitchenEfficiently work all areas as needed or directedKnow and adhere to state/local health codes and ordinancesPerforms such other additional and related duties as may be assigned by Supervisor or General ManagerOptimum Attributes:Good listener and effective communication skillsPleasing personality and good team playerWell-groomed and professional appearanceOpen with praise, discrete with criticismCustomer Service ChampionRequirements:At least one year Culinary or Restaurant Experience Show enthusiasm for foodMust be coachableMust be able to cook dishes as taught, the same way every timeAbility to work neatly and clean as you goAbility to work in a safe manner and to stay focused under pressure
