Certified Surgical Technologist Lab Instructor

Role Description This is an on-site role located in Milpitas, CA for a Surgical Technology Lab Instructor. The Surgical Technology Lab Instructor will be responsible for instructing and supervising students. The position will require extensive knowledge of current surgical technology and techniques. The Surgical Technology Lab Instructor will also be responsible for assessing student performance, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications Must possess a current and valid Surgical Technology certification and an associate’s degree Prior experience in a Surgical Technology Instructor position preferred or a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field or teaching. Proficiency in current surgical technology and techniques, as well as an understanding of their application Experience with curriculum development and implementation preferred but not required Attention to detail is required Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience with academic technology and software, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) Must maintain CEU requirements as specified by standards set forth by all relevant governing bodies Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Per diem Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Vision insurance Schedule: 12 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday No weekends Work Location: In person
