We are looking to expand our team, and are searching for the right candidate to provide technical input, quality code, and elegant solutions.\nYour Impact:\nHelp build and maintain our existing Java core product\nWork closely with product and engineering team members to bring new features to the product\nCollaborate with technical support to resolve operational issues\nHands-on work with existing systems whilst maintaining quality and stability\nCollaborate with other engineers\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n5+ years of experience as a software engineer\nExtensive hands-on development experience in Java (5+ years)\nSolid understanding of software development fundamentals including design patterns and object-oriented programming\nProven ability to write clean, testable code\nExperience with agile methodologies and delivering solutions in an iterative way\nExperience in a startup or small company environment\nAdaptable and responsive\nSets a high bar for quality\nStrong communication skills and organizational skills\nWillingness to learn new languages, technologies, and stacks\nDegree in computer science, software, or equivalent\nBonus points if you have experience in any or all of the following:\nReact\nNodeJS\nGraphQL\nAWS\nRails\nSaaS or high-traffic environments\nWhy ShipperHQ?\nThis is a highly fast-paced environment where no two days will look alike.
