{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"848c43ea41a36033dbf289a1","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/848c43ea41a36033dbf289a1","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/848c43ea41a36033dbf289a1","title":"Plate Technician - 2nd Shift","description":"Labelink is Growing!\nWe’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team on 2nd shift as Plate Technician!\n\nWhy Labelink?\nNo mandatory overtime – we value work-life balance.\nOptional overtime available.\nStraight shifts (no rotations).\nCompetitive pay with raises & bonuses.\n\nShift Details\n\nTraining will be conducted on 1st shift.\nSecond Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:20 PM–12:20 AM (+$1.00 shift differential).\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nReview job orders and plate mounting specifications (e.g. plate type, size, orientation).\nClean, inspect, and, if needed, make minor repairs to plates prior to mounting.\nApply mounting tape, align and mount plates on cylinders or sleeves with high precision.\nTrim, proof, and perform quality control checks (registration, alignment, defects).\nMaintain and organize prepress/work area (plates, sleeves, tapes, etc.).\nTransport mounted plate assemblies to press staging area.\nClean mounting equipment, remove used plates, wash and dry plates as needed.\nRecord and report any defects, equipment issues, or discrepancies.\nAdhere to safety, quality, and food‑safety/cleaning protocols if applicable.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBasic math skills, ability to read rulers/tape measures to close tolerances.\nGood attention to detail, ability to spot defects (wrinkles, backing issues, alignment problems).\nAbility to lift up to ~50‑75 lbs occasionally and to stand for prolonged periods.\nBasic computer skills for documentation and job tracking.\n\nOur Benefits\nHealth, Dental, Vision, HSA & HRA options.\n401(k) match – $0.50 on the dollar up to 10%.\nPaid time off & holidays (eligible day one!)\n\nCareer advancement potential!\n\nReady to grow with us?
