Front Desk & Dog Bather - Potential for Grooming Apprenticeship Experience working with dogs REQIRED

Gordons Grooming was started by and remains owned by Lara Gordon Latshaw, a nationally recognized Master Groomer and Pet CPR and First Aid instructor. This position is for the front desk (reception) and bather. If someone in this position is interested in learning to groom, they would be first in line to participate in our apprenticeship program (a paid program.) Candidates need to be able to lift 50#, be on their feet quite a bit, and be physically able to manage the position. Candidates should want to work in a company with the best equipment, support staff, pay, and clients. The bather position is the entry-level position at Gordon's Grooming. Our training program is for people who want to learn how to groom. Initially, we train the ideal candidate how to bathe and dry dogs, then add on skills a little at a time. Candidates should be able to lift fifty pounds and not mind physical work. This is a paid apprenticeship. We also provide access to hundreds of online professional learning material and videos along with our training program. The amount of time it takes to complete the program will depend on the motivation of the apprentice. Candidates should include information regarding their interest in the position and why they think they are interested in becoming a dog groomer.
