Your compassion and service are needed now.\n\nScheduling and Supervision\n\nEmployees will work the shift(s) agreed upon at the time of hire. Staff must be willing and able to work at any of the group homes to which they are scheduled. Shift assignments will be made based on program and operational needs.\n\nThis position reports directly to the Program Manager. Employees will be scheduled to work at the designated group homes for which they have been selected and trained.\n\nWhat Shift is Right for You?\n\nWe have the following full-time DSP shifts available to best meet your needs, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekend shifts. We will be hiring one person for each of these positions.\n\nWednesday through Wednesday 10:00pm - 8:00am\nMonday through Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm\n Monday through Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm\n Saturday through Sunday 8:00am - 10:00pm\n\nWhen you apply, please specify for which shift you are most interested.\n\nPlease note that all DSP shifts are designated as AWAKE shifts, irrespective of whether they occur during the day, evening or overnight hours.\n\nWhat You Will Do\n\n- Increase clients’ quality of life through recreational activities, community outings, leisure activities, reading to clients, playing games, etc.\n\n- Assist with personal cares (showering, toileting, hygiene, getting ready for the day, meal prep, etc.)\n\n- Maintain a safe and clean home environment (assisting with laundry, cleanliness of living areas, ensure safe walkways/sidewalks, etc.)\n\n- Provide client behavior assistance, support, and behavior modification according to the client Treatment Plans.\n\n- Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients.\n\n- Provide medication administration to clients as directed by nursing staff and the treatment plan, as well as observe and keep accurate documentation.\n\n- Ensure effective communication and documentation. Conduct daily review of client communication logs and complete charting.\n\n- Be on time and ready to work.
