Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – OutpatientLocation: Brooklyn, NYJob Type: ContractContract: 13 weeks with strong possibility of extensionSchedule: 5x7.5-hour shifts (Day Shift)Guaranteed hours per week: 37.5Pay: Up to $55/hourJob SummaryPride Health is seeking an experienced Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity in Brooklyn, NY. The RN will provide high-quality ambulatory care, supporting patients through assessment, treatment, and education while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Responsibilities• Deliver patient-centered care using evidence-based nursing practices • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care • Perform patient assessments, triage, and clinical interventions • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems (EPIC preferred) • Support patient flow and clinic operations • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient experience programsRequirements• Active New York RN License • BLS Certification required • Minimum 2 years of RN experience • At least 2 years of ambulatory/outpatient experience • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient settingPreferred Qualifications• BSN preferred • EPIC experience highly preferred • Prior experience in internal medicine or ambulatory care settings • Previous travel nursing experience (preferred but not required)Why Work with Pride Health?Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
