This role combines automation engineering, CI/CD pipeline design, and cloud-aware testing practices, offering the opportunity to influence how enterprise systems are built, tested, and released.\r\nYou will collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate testing deeply into development workflows, improve observability and reliability, and ensure quality at scale across distributed systems.\r\nThis is a Full Time Employment Opportunity based in Dallas, TX in hybrid Model.\r\nYour future duties and responsibilities\r\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks for API and Web applications\r\nImplement automated tests across multiple layers, including unit, component, integration, functional, performance, and scenario testing\r\nArchitect and enhance automation test platforms to support long term scalability and maintainability\r\nDesign, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including branching strategies, merging processes, version control, and deployment automation\r\nSupport performance testing, chaos testing, and security testing activities\r\nContribute to cloud migration efforts and ongoing cloud environment management\r\nCollaborate with engineering teams to improve test coverage, release efficiency, and production system health\r\nApply expertise in testing, testability, and secure engineering practices to influence software design and development\r\nDevelop SQL queries and implement data seeding strategies to support automated testing\r\nEvaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks and provide recommendations for adoption\r\nRequired qualifications to be successful in this role\r\nAt least 6-9 years of relevant experience\r\nProven experience designing and implementing QA strategies and automation frameworks\r\nHands on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, and ETL batch testing\r\nStrong background in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline engineering (e.g., Jenkins Core, monorepo environments, LWC)\r\nProficiency with Git based source control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket/Stash, Sourcetree)\r\nProgramming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Node.js (nice to have)\r\nExperience with observability and monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog)\r\nExperience with performance testing and chaos engineering practices\r\nSolid understanding of accessibility standards and testing accessible web experiences\r\nCloud experience preferred, particularly with AWS\r\nAWS certification is considered an advantage\r\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\r\nA disciplined approach to engineering, quality, and operational excellence\r\nThe ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross functional environment\r\nA commitment to continuous learning and improvement\r\nThe capability to influence technical direction and promote best practices across teams\r\nEducation: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience\r\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
