This includes entering, cleaning, and reviewing data, as\nwell as managing data extraction, reporting, and reconciling across departments. This role also includes creating\nand mailing both bulk and custom acknowledgment letters in physical and digital forms, and responding to\ndonor questions and requests related to gifts.\n\nResponsibilities\nGift Entry, Acknowledgments & Reconciliation (50%):\nManages entry and acknowledgment of all gifts via mail, credit card, online, direct deposit, and stock\ntransfer.\nEnters gift and donor data into fundraising database software with appropriate/accurate coding.\nProduces acknowledgement letters/tax receipts with knowledge of practical tax receipting protocol.\nResponds to donor inquiries via phone and email, including gift documentation/acknowledgement,\ncredit card updating, memorial gift notifications or tallies, or special gift follow-up.\nReconciles with Finance department at month-end; includes troubleshooting and auditing data.\nSystems and Database Management (25%):\nManages all aspects of the Raiser’s Edge NXT database including data integrity, processing updates and\ncorrections in a timely manner.\nThis management includes troubleshooting gift batch errors, merging duplicate constituents, and\nregularly updating donors’ contact information, mailing preferences, household relationships and\ndeceased statuses.\nReporting and Other Functions (25%):\nDevelops reports and manages the regular distribution of data, including monthly fundraising report\nwhich summarizes department performance metrics and fundraising progress toward goals.\nProduces queries, reports, and lists needed by development and communications staff for mailings,\nemail segmentation, portfolio management, and events management.\nSupports development staff in creating reports/lists within Raiser’s Edge NXT, including revenue\nprogress in real-time, tasks and actions, and call lists.\nManages estate gift entry, paperwork, filing, and communications.\nThe duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned\nas necessitated by organizational demands.\nQualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with specific emphasis on Excel (PivotTables, vlookups,\nsums and counts, if statements) , Word (formatting, mail merges), and Outlook, respectively\nAt least 1-2 years’ experience working within donor databases, with a strong preference for experience\nwith Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge NXT and the Raiser’s Edge database functions\no Other experience in CRM platforms such as Salesforce may be substituted\nCustomer service orientation with problem-solving and de-escalation skills\nAbility to type quickly and accurately\nStrong interpersonal oral and written communications skills - required for effective communication with\ndonors, teammates, and other departments\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills, including physical and digital file management\nAn analytical mindset\nCommitment to EFAA’s mission, vision and values\nWorking Environment, Physical Activities and Equipment Used: Typical office environment.
