The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality while delivering exceptional internal customer service to employees and managers.\r\nLocation\r\nEncinitas, CA\r\nWork Environment\r\nHybrid – remote or office-based, with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities\r\nProvide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team\r\nMaintain employee files and update HR databases under supervision\r\nEnter and track employee data (annual harassment training, performance reviews, policy rollouts, etc.)\r\nPrepare offboarding paperwork and support onboarding activities, including updating orientation materials and assisting onsite staff\r\nRespond to routine employee inquiries or direct them to appropriate HR staff\r\nGenerate HR reports and compliance-related documentation\r\nMaintain digital and physical labor law postings\r\nFile, scan, and organize confidential HR documents while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee information\r\nCoordinate HR team and office events (staff lunches, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)\r\nPerform general administrative duties including data entry, emailing, scheduling, and document preparation\r\nSupport general office administration tasks such as ordering supplies, receiving and distributing mail, and shipping packages\r\nAssist with project-related tasks and HR initiatives as needed\r\nIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative efficiency\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\r\nMinimum of 1–2 years of experience providing administrative support in a mid-size company\r\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\r\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion\r\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\r\nMust possess a valid driver's license and active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field\r\nPrevious experience in an HR support role\r\nFamiliarity with HRIS systems and employee database management\r\nExperience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes\r\nExperience coordinating employee engagement or office events\r\nCompensation\r\n$21.00–$25.00 hourly. Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
