Job Description Lead Journeyman Residential ElectricianWire Wiz Electrical ServicesPosition SummaryWire Wiz is seeking an experienced Lead Journeyman/Supervisory Electrician to join our 5-star, award-winning team serving the Ocean City, Egg Harbor Township, and surrounding areas. This leadership role is ideal for a highly skilled residential electrician with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while supervising and supporting team members.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on residential electrical experience and be capable of diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a wide range of residential electrical systems with little to no supervision.ResponsibilitiesReplace and upgrade electrical service panels and breaker boxesInstall and replace service entrance cables and meter socketsTroubleshoot and repair residential electrical systems independentlyInstall ceiling fans, light fixtures, recessed lighting, and exterior lightingInstall attic fans and ventilation-related electrical componentsRun and install new electrical circuits for residential applicationsDiagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutionsEnsure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codesMaintain accurate job documentation and communicate project updatesLead and mentor apprentices and junior electricians as neededDeliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all timesSafely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipmentQualificationsMinimum 8 years of daily residential electrical experienceJourneyman Electrician license preferred (where applicable)Proven ability to perform residential electrical work independentlyStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of current electrical codes and safety standardsExcellent leadership and supervisory abilitiesStrong communication and customer service skillsProfessional appearance and positive attitudeAbility to lift, climb, crawl, and work in attics, basements, and other residential environmentsRequirementsClean driving recordValid driver's licenseNo criminal backgroundReliable transportationAbility to pass background and driving record checksStrong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanshipCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime available for those who want additional hoursPaid vacationBenefits availableSteady year-round workOpportunities for advancement and leadership growthSupportive, team-oriented work environmentWhy Join Wire Wiz?Wire Wiz has built a reputation as a trusted, award-winning electrical contractor known for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
