Warehouse Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the storage, inventory control, and shipment of goods. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Duties - Stock and organize products within the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval and storage. - Fabricate packaging materials as needed for shipping and receiving operations. - Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts safely and effectively. - Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing shipments. - Conduct order picking tasks, preparing items for delivery according to customer specifications. - Perform heavy lifting of products, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. - Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications - Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices within a warehouse environment is a plus. - Ability to operate reach trucks or similar equipment; certification may be required for certain positions. - Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. - Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. - A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
