{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"84083b6db2b173dfa1ecde5d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/84083b6db2b173dfa1ecde5d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/84083b6db2b173dfa1ecde5d","title":"CNC Operator 2nd Shift","description":"Looking for CNC Operators for 2nd for our client who works with medical components!\n\n*3pm-11:30pm \\*must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed\\**\n\n_*Pay is based on experience*_\n\nSUMMARY:\nFabricates precision parts from metal, plastic fiber, aluminum, etc., using CNC machine\ntools such as lathes, milling machine etc. Uses precision measuring instruments and\nvarious hand tools.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material\nrequirements.\n Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.\n Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade.\n Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine.\n Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine\nmalfunction.\n Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.\n Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece.\n Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work\npieces.\n Assists machinists to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport\nfinished work pieces.\n Performs preventative maintenance on machine per requirements.\n General housekeeping (sweeping, mopping etc) and overall cleaning or any other\ntasks assigned by supervisor.\n Any and all duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential\nduty satisfactorily.
