Audit Program Manager

Job DescriptionThe Audit Program Leader supports Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems by coordinating and managing audit activities across the organization. This role ensures compliance with HSE Management Systems (HSEMS), Process Safety Management (PSM), and RC 14001 certification requirements. The position is responsible for scheduling and staffing audits, reporting metrics, supporting incident and data management platforms, and facilitating management reviews at corporate and site levels. The Audit Program Leader reports directly to the Sr. Manager of HSE Systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule, staff, and coordinate audits for HSEMS and PSM across multiple sites.Maintain and manage the audit calendar, ensuring timely execution of all planned audits.Understand RC 14001 certification requirements and oversee their implementation during audits.Create, track, and report audit metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.Ensure completion of management reviews at both corporate and site levels, documenting outcomes and follow-up actions.Support incident and data management platforms such as Intelex and Facilex, assisting in data entry, integrity, and reporting.Oversee Maturity planning and verification self-assessment planning and implementation.Collaborate with site teams and corporate leadership to identify audit needs and resolve issues.Stay current on HSEMS, PSM, and certification standards, adapting audit processes as required.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE, auditing, or systems management.Strong understanding of HSEMS, PSM, and RC 14001 standards and requirements.Experience in managing audit schedules, staffing, and compliance activities.Proficiency with incident and data management platforms (Intelex, Facilex, or comparable systems).Excellent organizational, communication, and reporting skills.This role will require 30% travel.WE VALUEWillingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving requirements.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Adaptable, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.Professional, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement.U.s. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
