Yes\nPosition Summary\n\nBase-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform Modernization program in Bethesda, Maryland. This role supports the design, deployment, and maintenance of a full-stack containerized microservices architecture and contributes to DevOps, systems administration, installation, configuration, and production support activities.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDeploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture running on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch backend, and Kafka messaging.\nEnhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes to support faster development, quicker error detection, and resilient deployments.\nDesign, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure, including physical and virtualized environments.\nUse Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments to support new feature requirements.\nCollaborate with Systems Engineers to design solutions for new features and requirements.\nProvide technical input to systems engineering documentation, diagrams, and models in coordination with Systems Engineering and Architecture team members.\nParticipate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions, and other meetings.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.\nBachelor's degree with a minimum of ten years of experience in the category field.\nPossess at least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, CISSP, or CISSP Associate.\nAbility to obtain Privileged User Account certification per DoD 8570 policy.\nExperience with containers and container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.\nExperience troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, including Ingress/Gateway API, Helm chart design/build, pod disruption budgets, affinity/anti-affinity rules, external-secrets, ArgoCD, cert-manager, and eck/Elasticsearch.\nExperience developing GitLab pipelines, including integration of GitLab CI/CD components, Code Quality reports, and Code Coverage/Test reports.\nKnowledge of Linux operating systems.\nKnowledge of sysctls for Kubernetes environments.\nExperience with FApolicyd and SELinux.\nExperience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.\nDemonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with systems at scale.\nExperience or knowledge of key Agile processes and techniques.\nExperience with development or scripting languages and tools, such as Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, or
