We are unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.\n\nJob Summary:\nWe are looking for a Virtual Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a focus on automation, capacity management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads. The ideal candidate has operated VMware platforms at enterprise scale, navigates the evolving VMware product landscape pragmatically, and brings strong automation and operations discipline.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\nFive or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience.\nDeep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.\nHands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management.\nExperience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.\nStrong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling.\nFamiliarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.\nStrong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentials.\nExperience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVE.\nFamiliarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).\nExperience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations.\nExposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
