The role combines CI/CD pipeline engineering, application development, and platform integration to enable efficient, automated, and governed software delivery. A key focus is the integration of agentic (AI-supported) development capabilities into the software lifecycle, ensuring reproducibility, traceability, and compliance by design. The position requires the ability to implement end-to-end technical solutions across application and platform layers, while continuously improving engineering practices, tooling, and delivery standards in alignment with enterprise IT and regulatory requirements.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and operate robust CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows, ensuring reliable and repeatable software build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.\nEngineer full stack solutions by developing backend services and frontend components.\nDevelop and maintain scalable, modular, and testable code with appropriate testing practices.\nIntegrate and standardize toolchains across the SDLC including version control, build automation, artifact management, and security scanning.\nMonitor, analyze, and optimize pipeline and application performance with observability capabilities.\nEmbed and enforce security, compliance, and quality controls aligned with enterprise and regulatory requirements.\nContribute to architecture and technical design decisions\nApply DevOps and platform engineering practices including containerization and infrastructure as code (IaC)\nEvaluate and adopt emerging technologies including AI-assisted development.\nDrive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and standards.\nProduce and maintain technical documentation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional and global teams.\nSupport implementation of governance, traceability, and validation practices for AI-assisted software development in a regulated environment.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science with 7 years’ experience; Master's Degree in CS with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience\nExperience working with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI) and strong understanding of emerging agentic development workflows\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines in cloud or hybrid environments\nStrong backend programming skills and familiarity with frontend frameworks\nExperience with DevOps toolchains and Git-based workflows\nExperience deploying and supporting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.\nUnderstanding of SDLC practices, documentation, traceability, and validation requirements within regulated environments\nAbility to learn and apply new technologies\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nStructured and detail-oriented working style\nPreferred:\nExperience with Cloud-Native development and deployment on AWS or Azure\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and secure coding standards\nExperience developing REST APIs, microservices, and modern web applications using frameworks such as .NET, Python, React, or similar technologies\nExperience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools\nExperience in the pharmaceutical industry\n\nAdditional Information\n\nApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:\nThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
