That’s why we’re always looking ahead, and not just to the next project or what’s next in our industry.\n\nJob Overview : An Electrical Apprentice (Year 2 & Year 3) work under the supervision of licensed electricians to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field. Is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks including installation, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.\n\nPositions are available in Deer Valley, Arizona.\n\nCompensation : $24 to $30 per hour for Electrical Apprentices. Final pay is based on experience and skill level.\n\nSchedule : Monday–Friday: 10 hours per day (4/10 schedule). Friday: 8‑hour workday. Occasional Saturday.\n\nPer Diem: Not Applicable\n\nJob Functions:\n\nHelp install and repair wiring systems, electrical fixtures, and equipment.\nInstalling conduits including bending, cutting and threading up to 4-inch diameter rigid steel to hold electrical wires and cables\nReplacing conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.\nInstalling conductors, terminating (SES, panel boards, motor controls, PLC’s, instruments, and junction boxes).\nLearn to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes.\nHave good basic understanding of NFPA70E and the NEC.\n\nQualifications :\n\nEducation: Must be enrolled in an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or willing to enroll once hired. PCL will sponsor you in an apprenticeship program.\nBasic Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.\nCommunication: Good communication skills for effective collaboration and learning.\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rugged terrain and construction sites.
