This includes, but is not limited to F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J-1.\nEssential Job Functions:\n(Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might reasonably be assigned.)\nSoftware Development\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and websites.\nDevelop custom functionality using Angular, PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.\nBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between web applications, databases, APIs, and third-party services.\nParticipate in application architecture discussions and technical solution design.\nSource Control & DevOps\nUtilize Git-based source control workflows for all development activities.\nParticipate in code reviews and peer review processes.\nSupport CI/CD deployment pipelines and structured release management procedures.\nMaintain development, testing, and production environments according to established standards.\nDatabase & Server Administration\nDevelop and maintain database-driven applications utilizing MySQL/MariaDB and related technologies.\nAssist with administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based web hosting environments.\nSupport web server management using tools such as cPanel, WHM, Apache, and related technologies.\nMonitor website and application performance and implement optimization recommendations.\nQA & Testing\nPerform thorough quality assurance testing prior to deployment.\nValidate functionality across browsers, devices, operating systems, and accessibility requirements.\nCreate and execute test plans and document defects and resolutions.\nInvestigate and resolve software defects in a timely manner.\nProject Delivery\nManage assigned work items through Jira or approved project management systems.\nAccurately estimate effort and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies.\nFollow established development standards, documentation requirements & change management procedures.\nIndependently manage assigned priorities with limited supervision.\nRequired Knowledge, Abilities and Skills essential to Job Functions:\nRequired Technical Skills\n• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and SQL.\n• Experience developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations.\n• Experience developing and maintaining applications within a LAMP stack environment.\n• Strong understanding of REST APIs and web service integrations.\n• Experience working with relational databases including MySQL/MariaDB.\n• Experience using Git-based version control systems in a collaborative development environment.\n• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.\n• Familiarity with Linux web server administration.\n• Experience troubleshooting performance, security, and application stability issues.\nProfessional Competencies\n• Demonstrated ability to follow established development processes and standards.\n• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality assurance and testing.\n• Ability to work independently and effectively manage assigned priorities.\n• Consistently produces thoroughly tested work requiring minimal rework.\n• Ability to identify potential issues proactively and recommend solutions.\n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n• Demonstrated accountability and ability to meet deadlines without excessive supervision.\nRequired Software Knowledge and Skills essential to Job Functions:\nProficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. Experience should include participation in source-controlled development environments, deployment processes, and database-driven applications.\nLicenses or Certificates:\nPossess a valid Driver's License.
