Come join a team that brings a people-first approach to doing business!\n\nNetwork Engineer\nEssential Functions:\nThe Network Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house data, voice, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing and developing LANs, WANs and WLANs across the organization.\nThe Network Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.\nWork as a part of the Network Engineering team assisting in the design, development, configuration and maintenance of Bealls corporate and store network and telephony systems.\nResponsible for support, setup and network documentation for any work done as part of a work assignment\nAssist in the utilization, performance and successful daily operation of network data and telephony systems employed by Bealls in the operation of the business\nPerform duties in non-network related areas of Network Engineering when needed and feasible.\nResponsible for involvement in highest levels of error correction and comprehensive troubleshooting.\nPerform work during non-business hours as requirements or business needs dictate.\nMay recommend purchasing equipment to maintain the networked systems overseen by Network Engineering\nMay monitor equipment function and health to ensure optimal performance in conformance with specifications\nParticipate in an on-call rotation / Perform work during non-business hours as requirements or business needs dictate\nLog and report work as appropriate\nPerform other duties as assigned\nINTERACTION:\nReports to Manager of Network Engineering.\nExtensive interaction with IT staff and management, as well as the Network Engineering team members.\nSome interaction with various people throughout the company, including store personnel and other corporate center departments.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:\nThere are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nMust have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.\nMust have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc).\nMust have full arm and hand usage to operate and move equipment.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nCisco CCNA certification required, Cisco CCNP or beyond strongly preferred.\nExtensive experience with enterprise networking technologies, tools & processes, including routing & switching, L4-7 traffic management (e.g. load balancing), firewalls, datacenter fabric, campus networks, VoIP, wireless, as well as networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IPSec, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.\nProficient with network operating systems such as: IOS, IOS-XE, JunOS (SRX/MX), NXOS, Linux\nUnderstanding and implementation of network traffic analysis for troubleshooting (Wireshark, Netflow, etc.)\nIn depth use of TACACS/RADIUS (ACS & ISE preferred)\nIn depth familiarity with SolarWinds Orion and Cisco Prime (or other NMS) preferred.\nSolid experience with firewall configuration and administration. Cisco ASA, FireSight, Firepower & Palo Alto strongly preferred.\nCisco WLC experience strongly preferred. Solid understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, RF and WLAN fundamentals\nExperience with F5 LTM configuration and management desirable\nAbility to evaluate multiple vendor data products.
