This role supports a U.S. Government customer and requires onsite work at a secure customer location.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a DevOps professional who enjoys working with modern cloud and container technologies in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.\nJob Responsibilities\nSupport the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, particularly EKS.\nSupport development and deployment of non-cloud and edge infrastructure, including on-premise and portable equipment.\nAutomate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.\nManage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.\nCollaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production systems.\nContinuously improve processes, tools, and automation to support high availability and performance.\nStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement.\nProvide hands-on technical execution while also supporting team guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nActive TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance required.\nU.S. Citizenship required.\n5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3+ years of relevant experience with a master’s degree; or high school diploma/equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience.\nStrong knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.\nStrong knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, and Lambda.\nExperience deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS environments.\nProficiency with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.\nExperience with application, container, and operating system deployment, scaling, and management.\nAbility to develop or script in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.\nFamiliarity with Git, Flux, and other development and deployment tools.\nComfortable working in a terminal-based environment.\nStrong Linux knowledge, including system administration and troubleshooting.\nExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nUnderstanding of Agile software development methodologies and standard software development tool suites.\nDemonstrated experience serving as a technical lead, mentor, or manager for engineering teams.\nMust be willing and able to support workspace opening/closing responsibilities during regular business hours as needed.\nMust be able to work onsite at a secure customer location five days per week.
