The Powder Bed Fusion/Additive Manufacturing & Engineering facility is located in Redmond, OR. We are seeking a select group of experienced, highly motivated, forward-thinking individuals to join our expert team.\n\nSummary of Role: The Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health, integrity, and operational efficiency of the organization. The Controller works closely with the VP of Finance & HR. This role serves as the point person for basic accounting operations as described below.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAccounts Payable:\nTake responsibility for monitoring emails submitted to our internal AP email.\nEnter invoices into QuickBooks. Correctly allocate expenses to the general ledger per i3D accounting policies.\nFollow up with vendors as necessary to resolve disputes\nEnsure i3D receives and uses credits received from vendors\nCoordinate with receiving department and i3D staff to confirm receipt of goods/services prior to entering invoices\nManage account information in Quickbooks and with vendors.\nCredit Card Reconciliations & Expense Reports:\nReconcile credit card statements on a monthly basis in QuickBooks. Allocate expenses to the general ledger per i3D accounting policies. Collect receipts from staff and maintain organized electronic files.\nProcess expense reports to refund staff for i3D business costs.\nAccounting, Financial Analysis, & Reporting:\nBook journal entries as directed by VP Finance\nAssist VP Finance with monthly closing. General ledger review. Fixed asset schedule. Prepaid assets. Inventory. Cash flow reconciliations. Labor & overhead accounting.\nComplete various analytical projects as directed by VP Finance. Performance variance analysis. Budgeting.\nAssist VP Finance with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.\nBanking:\nDaily cash reconciliations\nCredit card payments / reconciliations\nACH payments\nCheck payments\nMail runs to receive/deposit checks\nPurchasing employee morale gift cards for weekly warrior program\nManage Vendor Electronic Payment Authorization process. Obtain and verify bank account information from vendors\nAudit/Taxes:\nAssist VP Finance with annual financial audit.\nAssist VP Finance with annual property taxes, including property exemption filings\nPayroll:\nAssist Executive Director of HR & Legal with payroll processing and other payroll related assignments\nManage onboarding of new employee benefit codes onto payroll systems, including 401K and HSA contributions\nAssist with open enrollment processing as needed\nRequirements\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nAccounting degree\nPrior professional experience\nGood judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.\nFlexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed for workflow.\nQualifications\nExceptional knowledge of QuickBooks\n5 years of experience in accounting or finance\nCredibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history\nConfidential, understands the ethical standards of a CPA\nConscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product\nAccountable for specific performance\nPossess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner\nAble to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same\nGood GAAP and financial reporting technical skills\nExceptional work ethic\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience\nCertifications, Licenses, Registrations\nCPA preferred\n\nRequired: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) with requires U.S. person status (ITAR defines \"U.S. Person\" as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.\n\nAll candidates selected for this position will be required to successfully complete a background check as a condition of employment.
