The Role You'll own the bridge between HEAL's physical product and its intelligence.You'll bring together mechanical, electrical, and software systems into a secure, reliable connected device, working closely with our mechanical engineering and software teams and reporting directly to the CEO. This is a founding-level role with real ownership over how our hardware thinks, moves, and stays secure.What You'll DoDesign and integrate electromechanical systems (sensors, actuators, motors, and control electronics) into a consumer-grade health deviceDevelop embedded firmware and control logic, and own the device-to-cloud connectionBuild security into the hardware layer: secure boot, encrypted communication, tamper resistance, and safe firmware updatesWork with the software lead to connect the device to HEAL's AI infrastructure reliably and safelyTake prototypes from bench to test to manufacturable designDefine testing, validation, and reliability standards for a product people will depend on dailyWho You AreExperienced mechatronics engineer (7+ years) with shipped hardware productsStrong in embedded systems and low-level programming (C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers).
