This will be an onsite contract opportunity.\n\nThis position has a strong focus on administering and supporting enterprise storage and virtualization infrastructure, including legacy VMware and Nutanix environments. The Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of servers, storage, virtualization platforms, operating systems, applications, and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance within a mission-critical hospitality and gaming environment.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server and virtualization infrastructure.\n\nHands‑on experience administering legacy VMware (vSphere/ESXi) and Nutanix environments.\n\nPrevious experience in the hospitality and/or gaming industry is required, preferably supporting casino operations or gaming technology.\n\nMust currently possess, or have previously possessed, a Massachusetts Gaming License/Card (MA Gaming Card) and be eligible to obtain one if required.\n\nExperience supporting mission‑critical, 24×7 production environments with a focus on high availability and uptime.\n\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, storage, networking, and disaster recovery.\n\nExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience administering or supporting Linux server environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).\n\nExperience with automation, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python), and enterprise monitoring tools.\n\nRelevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, Microsoft, or Linux certifications.\n\nLink Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
