They are committed to maintaining strong cybersecurity practices and protecting critical infrastructure through innovative identity and access management strategies.Job DescriptionThe IAM Operations Specialist plays a key role within the Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. This individual will support the day-to-day operations of identity lifecycle management, ensuring secure access to systems and applications across the organization. The role requires a strong foundation in IT systems, security best practices, and user access management.What You'll DoManage identity lifecycle processes, including user account creation, maintenance, and terminationAdminister and maintain Active Directory objects, including assigning and removing permissionsGrant and manage user access across systems such as networks, applications, and development environmentsAnalyze and process access requests in accordance with established policies and proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve user access and authentication issuesMonitor and enhance IAM processes to improve system security and efficiencySupport and complete Service Desk tickets and requests related to access managementCommunicate security policies, procedures, and best practices to employees across the organizationCollaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate access controls are in placeAssist in testing and implementing changes to improve system securityDocument processes and maintain accurate records of access and security activitiesRequired SkillsStrong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) best practicesHands-on experience with Active Directory administrationExperience in help desk, system analysis, or IT security operationsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve user access issues effectivelyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and WordAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesNice-to-HavesExperience with ServiceNow.Excellent customer relations and service skills.Experience with applications, new account creations and/or permissions and terminations.Able to troubleshoot and resolve user problems in a timely manner.Strong ability to cope under pressure and work in a high-pace environment.Experience with Identity Governance technology, such as Sailpoint and Savignt.Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.General knowledge of the applications utilized and the associated security.
