Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role assists in driving on-time delivery, improving schedule visibility, and supporting planning accuracy within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.\nThis role places a strong emphasis on data analysis, reporting, and schedule integrity. It requires working cross-functionally to help balance priorities, escalate risks, and ensure schedule adherence.\n\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities\nMaster Scheduling\nTranslate customer forecasts, sales orders, and contract requirements into executable production plans.\nSupport the creation and maintenance of the weekly and monthly production schedule (MPS) under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager. Example, a 12-week rolling schedule that is republished every week.\nWork closely with both the Buyer and Planner to support their delivery & execution of the weekly schedules.\nProvide support to track, analyze, and report key supply chain KPIs including:\nSchedule adherence / attainment (%)\nOn-time delivery (OTD) performance\nPast-due order aging, and the associated revenue $\nDevelop, update, and communicate a detailed past-due recovery plan, that is connected to the 12-week rolling schedule.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues impacting the production schedule, developing proactive solutions.\nProvide clear, data-driven summaries and visual reports to support management decision making.\nSupport ad hoc reporting requests from Supply Chain, Operations, and Leadership teams.\nSupport Supply Chain Manager and team with additional duties as required.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nPartner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment with available capacity and resources. Drive the cross-functional team to stretch their capabilities to satisfy confirmed ship dates.\nAssist in verifying material availability and identifying shortages impacting production.\nSupport issue resolution by gathering data and coordinating follow-up actions.\nMust be willing to support cross-functional duties as required.\nAerospace & Compliance Requirements\nMaintain scheduling documentation to support internal processes and external audit requirements.\nEnsure adherence to company procedures and applicable industry standards (e.g AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP, etc.).\nContinuous Improvement\nDrive process improvements in scheduling tools, data integrity, and planning accuracy.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, optimize operational efficiency, and reduce lead times.\nPhysical Requirements\nPhysically medium duty work required and comfortable in a CNC manufacturing environment.\nRequires standing, walking and sitting throughout the day.\nAble to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds frequently.\n\nExperience and Education Required\nAssociates degree in business, Supply Chain Management, operations, or related field (preferred).\n5+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing.\nComplete understanding and application of MRP principles, concepts, practices, and standards.\nStrong communication skills and effectiveness building relationships at all levels.\nVery strong attention to detail and accuracy in all efforts, quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis in Excel.\nTeamwork, reliable attendance, and willingness to work overtime as needed.\n\nTechnical Skills\nMS Office\nProficiency with ERP/MRP systems (D365, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
