Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator

Position Summary:  The Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator is a skilled warehouse team member responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of inventory within the facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring product integrity and location accuracy by putting away, picking, and scanning pallets in accordance with company standards. Operators must exercise precision and attention to detail in maintaining inventory control, as accurate storage and retrieval of goods is essential to customer satisfaction and overall warehouse performance. Primary Responsibilities:  Forklift & Inventory Operations * Safely operate a stand-up reach forklift to move, put away, and pick pallets. * Scan pallets and locations for every pallet touch. * Complete pre-shift inspection checklist before every shift. * Carry out order picking, receiving, and shipping operations with accuracy and care to minimize handling and prevent product damage. * Ensure all products are stored in correct locations and in compliance with special requirements (hazardous materials, allergens, temperature control, etc.). * Verify location accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and immediately report any discrepancies. * Accurately label and handle inventory to maintain alignment with billing and charge documentation. * Support warehouse team goals by meeting company shipping and accuracy requirements. Safety & Equipment Care * Operate equipment responsibly and in compliance with company safety policies. * Maintain damage and abuse to machinery and equipment below company standards. * Follow company procedures for food safety, facility cleanliness, and workplace safety. * Adhere to high standards of security throughout the facility. General Responsibilities * Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to resolve issues and maintain workflow. * Assist with general warehouse operations as needed to support team objectives. * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: * Ability to safely and responsibly operate Stand-up reach forklifts (5 Years Experience required) * Experience with Scanning. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory handling. * Ability to communicate clearly in English with managers and coworkers. * Good understanding of customer service and the cost of errors in warehouse operations. * Basic math skills. * Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs. * Ability to work scheduled shift hours in a fast-paced environment. * Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to temperature swings, noise, dust, and high traffic. * Must be able to pass agency background checks and drug screens.
