PRIMARY FUNCTION: The EHS Technician supports the organization’s environmental, health, and safety programs by conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, assisting with regulatory compliance, maintaining safety records, and promoting a strong safety culture. The position works closely with employees, supervisors, contractors, and management to help ensure a safe and environmentally compliant workplace.\nB. REPORTS TO: EHS Manager / EHS Director\nC. SUBORDINATES; None\nD. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.\nIdentify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.\nAssist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.\nMaintain OSHA-required records, inspection reports, and EHS documentation.\nSupport implementation and enforcement of company safety policies and procedures.\nConduct or assist with employee safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks.\nMonitor PPE requirements and ensure appropriate PPE is available and used.\nAssist with emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and response procedures.\nPerform environmental inspections and assist with waste management and spill prevention programs.\nSupport compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.\nTrack corrective actions and follow up to ensure timely completion.\nMaintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventories.\nAssist with audits, regulatory inspections, and internal EHS assessments.\nPrepare safety reports, metrics, and other documentation for management.\nPromote employee awareness of safe work practices and environmental responsibilities.\nE.
