Handler 1","description":"Job Title: Material Handler 1\nLocation: Columbus NE 68601\nPay Rate: $22.70/hr on W2\nDuration: 4 + Month Contract (Possible extension)\nSchedule: 6pm-6am on a rotating shift\n\nPosition Summary:\n\nGeneral Summary\nPallet/Case Picking\nProcessing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes.\nPick and pack orders.\nProcessing orders through RF technology.\nMaintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions.\nResponsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.\nComplete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles.\nResponsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.\n\nPallet Build\nPalletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets.\nRe-palletizing products for shipment.\nMay be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper.\nMay be required to transport pallets by walking MHE.\nResponsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.\n\nAdditional Duties\nMust follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses.\nMay be required to perform other duties as assigned.\nMust adhere to attendance policies.\nRequired to maintain current status in C2C training modules.\n\nQuality\nUnderstand organizational quality goals.\n\nSafety and Security\nAssociates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety requirements.\nAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment.\nAll injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately.\nReport any suspicious persons or activity.\n\nSanitation and Housekeeping\nMaintain a clean and professional image.\nTo ensure the cleanliness of the facility, follow guidelines as outlined.\nThe associate must maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.\n\nCross-Training\nBecome knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions.\nAssist as required.\nAct as back up at times of absence or vacation.\n\nJob Requirements\nHigh School diploma, GED or 1 year of relevant experience required.\nExperience with Walkie Ryder (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred.\nGood verbal communication skills.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks or projects.\nAbility to work in a fast paced distribution environment.\nAbility to read and interpret distribution documents.\nAbility to work well with others.\nAbility to work under minimal supervision.\nMay be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.\nAbility to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.\nBasic analytical, organizational and prioritization
