Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Viera West, FL, for a Construction Coordinator. The Construction Coordinator will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of construction projects within Brevard County. Responsibilities include monitoring project schedules, budgets, and compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards, managing contractor relationships, reviewing project plans, and conducting site inspections. The Coordinator will liaise with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget. Qualifications Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and construction coordinationStrong understanding of construction codes, safety regulations, and permitting processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documentsSkills in contractor management and stakeholder communicationExperience with construction cost estimation and budget managementProficiency in using construction project management tools and softwareStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferredPrevious experience in government or public-sector construction projects is a plusA valid Florida driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as needed
