Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the ETL pipelines.\r\nSnowflake Implementation Configure and optimize Snowflake features such as clustering, materialized views, and automatic scaling to maximize performance and minimize costs.\r\nCompliance Ensure that all data processing activities adhere to ITAR regulations. Implement security controls and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data.\r\nPerformance Tuning Monitor and analyze the performance of Snowflake data pipelines. Identify bottlenecks and optimize queries and processes for improved efficiency.\r\nData Validation Validating the data rules created by the development team as part of data validation.\r\nCollaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and IT professionals to understand data requirements and deliver robust data solutions.\r\nDocumentation Create comprehensive documentation for Snowflake data pipelines including data models, ETL processes, and compliance procedures.\r\nTroubleshooting Investigate and resolve data-related issues promptly. Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users when necessary.\r\nContinuous Improvement Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices. Continuously evaluate and propose enhancements to existing data infrastructure.\r\nOffshore Peer team management Coordinate and be flexible in coordinating with the peers from offshore and onsite team engagement. Should be flexible in delivering the tasks on time and ready to work on business critical ad-hoc requests.\r\nQualifications\r\nMust have 8-15 years of tool business experience.\r\nMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\r\nMust possess hands-on experience in Snowflake and demonstrate a strong ability to write and optimize code on a daily basis ensuring efficient data operations management.\r\nProven experience as a Snowflake Data Engineer preferably in ITAR-regulated environments.\r\nStrong proficiency in SQL data modeling and IICS ETL processes.
