QHSE Coordinator

We are seeking a QHSE Coordinator for our Port Allen, LA facility. The QHSE Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, revise, review, and approve procedures, forms, specifications, etc. for existing or new regulatory requirements and/or customer requirements for both HSE and Quality.
Interpret customer and industry HSE and Quality requirements to ensure project compliance.
Assist the sales department with the creation, revision, review, and approval of HSE and Quality specifications needed for project compliance.
Conduct statistical analysis (chart, spreadsheets, graphs, etc.) on internal business activities for use in determining continuous improvement of HSE and the Quality Management System (QMS).
Review and approve HSE activities, including near miss reports, incident reports, OSHA logs, safety equipment inspections.
Implement the training program by performing training, primarily make up trainings, and help maintain records for compliance.
Help with the investigation to determine root cause of Corrective Action Reports, Preventative Action Reports, first aids, lost time accidents, and Company Performance Reports.
Help maintain compliance with HSE and QMS specifications by monitoring and measuring processes through auditing, investigating, and data analysis.
Help facilitate the movement of Non-Conformance Report creation, investigation, disposition, and completion.
Any other duties assigned by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-5 years of experience in a QHSE, HSE, or Quality role
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and standards
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Strong communication and training abilities
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
