Senior Manager of Financial Reporting @ Distribution Firm
We're working with a High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Strategically driven professional within their Controllership team to work with Director and CAO. This professional will be a a part of working with Finance and M&A Teams along with Executives throughout their businesses. Will be responsible for all Corporate Accounting Transactions handling Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Asset Acquisitions, Tax, Audit, and Financial Systems.Key Focus Areas:Review and Analyze Financial Reporting Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Corporate Accounting transactions related to General Ledger, Quarterly/Year-End, Financial Statements, Inter-Company, Capex, and working capital .Creation and management of accounting policies as well as revenue recognition oversightAssist with annual audit.Play an active role in evaluating, developing, implementing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures to respond to changes.Assist in completion of Tax filings working with outside CPA firm.Monitor and review all accounting processes to ensure controls.Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely analysis of financial data, ensuring best practices.Ensures accurate and timely reporting of financial results, and undertakes other special projects as requested by the Director, CAO, CFO, VP and SVP of Finance.Take ownership of financials and adheres to deadlines.Forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances.Manager and supervise accounting staff.Skills/Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must6 years accounting experience out of Public Accounting and Manufacturing, Service Companies, or Distributions Industry also a plusCPA is preferredVery Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Reporting Systems and Revenue Recognition is neededTeam Management and Staff Development
