The person in this role will manage the full sales cycle for commercial flooring projects, from prospecting and qualifying leads to preparing proposals, pricing, and closing opportunities. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with property managers, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and material requirements. The Commercial Sales/Project Manager will oversee project schedules, monitor progress, address issues, and ensure installations meet quality and safety standards. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, preparing reports, and providing responsive customer support to uphold the company’s 24-hour turnaround commitment for property management orders.Qualifications Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and overseeing multiple commercial projects simultaneously.Demonstrated analytical skills to review estimates, interpret job specifications, analyze costs, and optimize margins.Excellent customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and long-term client relationship management.Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.Proven sales skills, including prospecting, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing commercial deals.Experience in flooring, construction, property management, or a related industry is highly beneficial.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for remote project and account management.Proficiency with CRM platforms, project management software, and standard office applications.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in sales, construction management, or business are a plus.
