If you enjoy interpreting inspection data, tweaking parameters, and collaborating with engineers to lock in robust processes, this role is built for you.Why this role?You'll own set-up through run for automated laminating and die-cut systemsYou'll apply SPC to keep the process stable and predictableYou'll be a key voice as we launch new equipment and continuously improveWhat will you tackle each shift?Prepare, start up, and operate automated lamination and rotary die-cut machineryAdjust controls and process conditions to protect quality and throughputUse custom machine software plus automated inspection/vision (e.g., Keyence) to validate every moveRead dimensional and CMM results, then make the right corrective tweaksVerify parts using visual checks, calipers, CMM, and automated inspection toolsApply basic SPC to monitor trends and act before variation impacts yieldHandle light troubleshooting and preventive maintenanceComplete production and quality documentation accuratelyPartner with engineering and operations on process improvements and launch activitiesMust-have qualificationsExperience operating automated manufacturing equipmentFamiliarity with machine HMIs and automated control systemsProficiency with precision hand metrology (e.g., calipers)Foundational SPC knowledgeStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindsetAbility to stand for long periods and lift materials as neededNice-to-haveLamination, film processing, or rotary die-cutting backgroundAutomated inspection/vision system exposure (Keyence or similar)CMM experience and comfort interpreting dimensional datasetsExperience helping launch new processes or equipmentRelated proficienciesDie attach/bondingStatistical process control (SPC)Metal stamping & forming (progressive die)Production run machine setupsManual machining skillsEquipment you may interface withPunch pressExtrusion machineDie cast machines (cold chamber and hot chamber)Calipers and micrometersCylindrical grinderWork scheduleMultiple shifts available—let's find the fit that works.
